How Integrative Healing Cultivates Security, Serenity, and Self-Connection

Hi! I’m Claire, a Certified Integrative Trauma Practitioner and holistic healer. I believe that healing should go deeper than the mind and into the body to help you break through barriers and step into your brilliance. 

You may be at the point where you’ve invested time, money, and energy on “end-all-be-all” solutions that still don’t meet your needs… I’ve been there, too. But it wasn’t until I felt something was missing in talk therapy that I perfected my method for lasting and effective healing backed by Dr. Peter Levine’s Somatic Experiencing, Polyvagal Theory, ancient practices, and holistic health. Even though I was crystal clear on why I was the way that I was, I’d repeat the same behaviors and experience the same triggers. Through feeling like I was different, hopeless, and wondering if I’d ever feel whole, I felt overwhelmed with the options for healing and the lack of structure around them. What I didn’t know at the time was that the thing keeping me stuck was my Nervous System state.

 It wasn’t until I addressed my triggers on a bodily level that I was able to finally break free from them. 

Through somatic (body-based) work, I was able to control my reactions to triggers, establish a loving connection with myself, and build the life I’ve always dreamed of. From overcoming attachment issues, anxiety, addiction, and more, I know that I can not only handle anything but be anyone I want. Now, I’m here to help you experience more embodiment and less suffering.

Hypnotherapy is a powerful healing modality that guides you into a trance-like state, bypassing habitual mental patterns. This opens you up to transformative suggestions that replace limiting beliefs with empowering ones, particularly beneficial for those with anxiety, obsessive thoughts, or insecurity.

Neuroscientific research supports hypnotherapy's effectiveness. In our sessions, I help you quiet the default mode network (DMN) of your brain, often overactive in anxiety and depression. This network usually amplifies worries and negative thinking. By enhancing regions for focused attention and sensory processing, hypnotherapy reduces unproductive self-talk and narrative loops, creating an optimal environment for therapeutic suggestions. We'll identify and affirm new beliefs during this 'magic window' of receptivity, leading to significant changes.

In our sessions, we'll focus on fostering a new relationship with your physical experiences, processing emotions through the body and learning its language. Integrating these approaches can significantly improve both emotional and physical symptoms of trauma, fostering lasting healing and personal empowerment.

My holistic healing approach encompasses both somatic therapy with 1-on-1 coaching where we’ll craft a plan to liberate you from triggers, anxiety, and shut down. We'll work together to craft a lifestyle plan that nourishes your nervous system, you’ll be able to connect with. a deep sense of security and maintain conscious contact with your highest self.

The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma

Let go of overthinking, break free from negative thoughts, and heal by tuning into your body. Those with trauma (anything that overwhelmed your system at the moment!) often experience a sense of perceived danger. Their past haunts them through persistent inner turmoil. As you move forward, traumas live within you, your body responding to triggers without your consent (you may know you have social anxiety and how it formed, but still sweat while introducing yourself). You remain at the mercy of your body. You constantly experience somatic (bodily) alarms, leading you to ignore instinctual cues and suppress your sensations to regain a semblance of control.
